Coaching the Whole Human

Young people are more than students or athletes. They are whole humans with emotions, strengths, fears, dreams and rapidly developing identities.

Coaching the Whole Human explores what it truly means to support young people in a way that honours their emotional, social and psychological world. Rather than focusing solely on performance or results, this workshop teaches adults how to connect with curiosity, empathy and intention.

Participants will learn how to recognise early signs of overwhelm, how to communicate in ways that protect confidence, and how to hold space for big feelings without judgement.

Through reflection and practical tools, this workshop supports adults in building trust-based relationships that help young people feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are, not just what they do.

“To truly coach a young person, you must first see the human beneath the performance.”
